Thank you to all that attended our Frontiers International Foundation workshop on Vitiligo. In realizing the aim of the Frontiers International Foundation, the Foundation hosted representatives for the Foundation Membership Meeting to discuss Vitiligo and its affects on individuals diagnosed with Vitiligo. Thanks to all that were in attendance.

The American Vitiligo Research Foundation:
Vitiligo is a condition in which your skin loses melanin, the pigment that determines the color of your skin, hair and eyes. If the cells that produce melanin die or no longer form melanin, slowly growing white patches of irregular shapes appear on your skin.

Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc.
The vision for a national coordinated approach to addressing issues related to sickle cell disease was unveiled in 1971 when representatives of 15 community sickle cell organizations met at "Wingspread," a Racine, Wisconsin conference center, as guest of the Johnson Foundation. Out of that meeting, the National Association for Sickle Cell Disease was created.
