History of the Frontiers International Foundation:
The Frontiers International Foundation, Incorporated, (the
successor to the initial Frontiers International, Vitilago Foundation) was
established in 1986 as the fund-raising arm of Frontiers International
Incorporated, to help address the total health needs of minorities. As a
501c(3) organization the Foundation is authorized to acquire, collect, receive
and invest funds. All donated funds are tax deductible. The foundation supports
the health education, research and treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia,
hypertension, Breast and Prostate Cancer, HIV-AIDS, Vitilago, all diseases,
which disproportionately affect African Americans. The Foundation also sponsors
a National health education and fitness events in the community, year-round.
Medical professionals and research experts along with community-based organizations,
conduct screenings including blood pressure, vision and podiatry services.
